ATR/Treehouse Names Allison Boyd as Event Manager

Allison Boyd brings years of Event Management Experience in a variety of social, corporate, non-profit and higher education client experience to the role

ATR/Treehouse, celebrating 25 years as the number one choice for event production services, equipment rental, and installation solutions, today announced Allison Boyd has joined as Event Manager. Allison will be responsible for fielding customer inquiries and assisting clients with their needs for upcoming events.

“Allison is well known both for her work on the board of International Special Events Society of Rhode Island (ISES RI), but also for her years of event management experience with a variety of clients,” says David J. LaPorte, President. “We are pleased to bring her on board, and, moreover, she is a great asset, proving we not only have the equipment that our customers need, but also the people they can rely on.”

Prior to joining ATR/Treehouse, Allison spent several years at Rentals Unlimited, beginning her tenure by assisting the region sales manager with sales of products and services for corporate and social themed events in Rhode Island. Allison soon moved up to a direct sales role, focusing on selling products and services for corporate and social themed events throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and Connecticut. Allison eventually rose to an Account Executive position, establishing the Providence, RI. office. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports/Entertainment/Events Management, Allison stays abreast of industry trends through continuing education, and is currently enrolled in Interior Design courses at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).

ATR/Treehouse Employees Earn InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist (CTS®) Certification

Leading Audiovisual (AV) Professional Accreditation Administered by American National Standards Institute (ANSI)

ATR/Treehouse, New England’s preferred resource for event production, rental, sales and installation of professional audio visual, sound, lighting and staging equipment for 25 years, is proud to announce three of its employees have earned the audiovisual (AV) professional Certified Technology Specialist (CTS®) certification.  General Manager William Murray, Installation Manager David Coccia, and Systems Engineer Laurence Coch have each earned the designatory letters CTS.

“ATR/Treehouse prides itself on the continuing education of its technicians and specialists,” says David LaPorte, President of ATR/Treehouse.  “Our focus on ongoing training and certification ensures our customers receive the best in technology, equipment, and service.”

The InfoComm program is accredited through the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) ISO/IEC 17024 certification of personnel as administered in the United States by American National Standards Institute (ANSI).  The accreditation marks the end of a multi-month process to verify compliance with requirements outlined in the internationally accepted standards for assessing personnel certification programs (ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024) and for the operation of accreditation bodies (ISO/IEC 17011).

Great Strides: Taking Steps to Cure Cystic Fibrosis is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest national fundraising event. Tens of thousands of co-workers, friends and family come together each year as one community for one cause, to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. In 2010, nearly $35.5 million was raised to support vital Cystic Fibrosis programs. ATR/Treehouse will support Great Strides by providing sound solutions and starting line setups.
